Barolo Braised Short Rib Pappardelle
This was my second dining experience here and it did not disappoint. We started with the grilled octopus and fried calamari appetizers. The octopus was outstanding, although it was served a little bit different than the last time I had it. This time it was over a white bean, tomato, and breadcrumb salad rather than the polenta it was served with last time. I did not taste the calamari but my dining partners enjoyed it. Two of us at the table had the braised short rib paparadelle. The serving size was so big that I took half of it home. It was outstanding. The flavors melded so well. It's one of the very few pasta dishes that I've warmed up the next day and enjoyed it as much. It was so delicious that I had it for breakfast this morning. At the suggestion of our server extraordinaire, Julio, we shared a butter cake for the table. I love sweets and was prepared to bring my A game and make sure I got a lot of cake since we were sharing. The truth is this butter cake is so delicious and very sweet so a few spoonfuls was about all I could manage. I want to give a special shout out to our server, Julio. He has a great personality, and put us at ease immediately. His suggestions were spot on in my opinion. I will definitely return to this restaurant and I will request to be placed at Julio's table.

I have A dairy allergy so I ordered it without cheese and no peas , it was an amazing dish , it was so good I really enjoyed it and I can't wait to order it again 😀
